Noel Esquivel, Director of 9-1-1 Network Operations, Coastal Bend Council of Governments, has been nominated for the prestigious Lavern Hogan Award.

The Laverne Hogan Award honors individuals who have shown extraordinary leadership in advancing 9-1-1 in Texas. Named after Laverne Hogan, the first TX-NENA President and founding Executive Director of the Greater Harris County 9-1-1 Emergency Network, this award recognizes 9-1-1 Administrators who go above and beyond their everyday job and exceed the expectations of their peers to further the goals of the Texas Chapter of the National Emergency Number Association and strengthen public safety communication in the 9-1-1 community.

Noel has been with the Coastal Bend Council of Governments since May 2019.
