Nueces County, in partnership with the Coastal Bend Emergency Management Association (CBEMA) and the Coastal Bend Council of Governments, is pleased to announce that registration is now open for the 2026 Coastal Bend Hurricane Conference, taking place May 6–7 at the Richard M. Borchard Regional Fairgrounds in Robstown, Texas.

Last year’s conference welcomed more than 1,200 attendees representing local, state, and federal agencies, elected officials, volunteer organizations, healthcare partners, and private industry. Whether you’re new to emergency preparedness or an experienced emergency manager, this conference offers valuable training and networking opportunities for all levels.

Now in its 14th year, this highly regarded regional event continues to strengthen collaboration and preparedness across the Mid-Texas Coast. Attendees can expect high-quality training typically found at larger statewide and national conferences — at a fraction of the cost — with more than 50 breakout sessions to choose from.
