Course Description:
This course is designed for users who perform TCIC/NCIC functions including inquiry and Criminal History Record Information (CHRI). Training covers TLETS databases such as driver license, vehicle registration, Financial Responsibility Verification Program (FRVP) or TexasSure, International Justice and Public Safety Network (Nlets), and Canadian Police Information Centre (CPIC), and Interpol. Training also provides procedural instructions for hit confirmations and administrative messages (this includes broadcasting in-state, nationwide, or to Canada). This course requires the TCIC/TLETS Less Than Full Access Manual. Users must recertify every two years.
